Caprese Salad

This caprese salad is fresh, healthy, and simple. I keep all these ingredients on hand to throw together for when I feel peckish, but don't want to make anything elaborate. In only 3 minutes you have a great snack or appetizer.


Ingredients:

Fresh basil

Baby tomatoes 🍅 , halved if you prefer

Fresh mozzarella (I use Trader Joe's marinated mozzarella pearls)

Splash of balsamic vinegar

Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

Chili 🌶 flakes (optional)

Rough salt and fresh black pepper to taste


Instructions:

Chop basil and pull apart mozzarella pearls. Combine all ingredients then season as desired. Enjoy!
